Separate the permanent identity from this event
An event design often combines a recurring club or show identity with a date and location that change. Keep those two layers distinct in the editable file. Reusing last year's layout can be convenient, but every changing detail needs a fresh check.
Review the year, month, day and venue wording against the organizer's confirmed information. If the event details are still provisional, avoid treating a draft graphic as a production-ready file.
Choose which details belong on the sticker
A commemorative sticker may need only the event name and year. A practical event label may need a date or identifier. Decide its job rather than copying every line from a poster into a small format.
For example, a long street address might be useful on an event web page but overwhelm a small keepsake design. Choose a readable approved location label and provide the full details through the appropriate event communication instead.
Check the exported proof against the current event
- Search the artwork for the previous year's number and old venue name.
- Inspect small date text at the proposed printed size.
- Confirm that all organizers are reviewing the same file version.
- Keep the approved export separate from drafts and promotional mockups.
If delivery timing matters, confirm the actual production and shipping arrangements before relying on the stickers for an event. Selecting a delivery option is not a guaranteed arrival commitment. Submit the finished design with the required date in your notes so feasibility can be discussed before production.
