THE STICKERROAR GUIDE

Checking a Sticker Against a Door Handle

Use a door handle as a visual reference while measuring the usable space independently.

Updated

A brown-and-black tabby cat looks forward with golden eyes, upright ears and white whiskers.

What to know

A nearby handle makes scale easy to notice, but handles are not a standard ruler. Check the sticker outline against the space around the handle and its moving parts. The most balanced position may be offset rather than centered directly under it.

Check your plan

  • Measure the free area below or beside the handle.
  • Leave the handle movement unobstructed.
  • Compare alignment with the door seam as well.

A practical example

For a circular sticker below a long handle, test a smaller circle first. Matching the handle's width can make the sticker dominate that part of the door.

The cover is an artwork example from the catalog. Use the measurements and file checks above to evaluate your own project, rather than treating the image as a scale reference.
