THE STICKERROAR GUIDE

Choosing Flame and Claw-Mark Sticker Art

Use the direction and spacing of sharp shapes to judge the visual energy of an abstract design.

Updated

Three jagged red claw marks slash diagonally upward across white space, each edged with a bold black outline.

What to know

Flames and claw-like marks lead the eye through their tips and curves. Compare the direction with the space where the sticker will sit. The longest tip determines part of the footprint, so inspect the complete outline instead of measuring only the central cluster.

Check your plan

  • Identify the direction of the longest shapes.
  • Check spacing between individual marks.
  • Include every projecting tip in the size plan.

A practical example

Four tall claw-like scratches create a different rhythm from a wide flame graphic. Both can feel bold, but they are not interchangeable in a narrow area.

The cover is an artwork example from the catalog. Use the measurements and file checks above to evaluate your own project, rather than treating the image as a scale reference.
