Converting Sticker Inches to Millimeters

Convert between inches and millimeters consistently when comparing the editor with your own measurements.

Updated

A black climber silhouette hangs from a rock ledge on the left, with one hand high above the head and a bent leg reaching outward.

What to know

One inch equals 25.4 millimeters. Keep the original measurement and converted value together so you do not accidentally enter centimeters as millimeters. Rounding is useful for discussing a layout, but the final dimensions should match the values saved with the order.

Check your plan

  • Multiply inches by 25.4 for millimeters.
  • Divide millimeters by 25.4 for inches.
  • Check both dimensions after changing units.

A practical example

A 4-inch dimension is 101.6 mm, or 10.16 cm. Entering 10.16 into a millimeter field would describe a much smaller sticker.

The cover is an artwork example from the catalog. Use the measurements and file checks above to evaluate your own project, rather than treating the image as a scale reference.
