Number Graphics or Truck Quotes: Two Different Reading Tasks
Compare a segmented 299 graphic with a multi-line truck quote to decide whether a compact symbol or a longer message fits your display.
Updated
A short number and a sentence need different attention
The 299 design uses large segmented numerals with a narrow km/h label. The truck illustration includes a multi-line motivational quote beneath a vehicle. One relies on a compact visual symbol; the other asks the viewer to read a sequence of words.
Choose based on the message you want to display and how closely it will be viewed. A large numeral is not automatically a better design, but it creates a different reading task from a long quotation.
Inspect the smallest required text
In the number graphic, the smaller unit label sits beside the main numerals. In the truck design, the largest word is not the whole message. Read every line in the actual product image and decide whether the small words remain part of the effect at your proposed size.
Do not choose dimensions only because the largest characters are visible. If the full phrase matters, test the complete composition with a paper footprint and read it in the intended display setting.
Do not confuse a graphic with an instrument
The 299 artwork is decorative. It does not report vehicle speed or verify a performance claim. Similarly, the truck illustration does not identify a particular operator or certify equipment capability.
The stock lettering stays as pictured. If you want a different number, phrase or unit, prepare a separate custom file and review it carefully before export. Our lettering spacing guide can help when designing your own message.
