Check the object in normal use so the planned footprint does not cross an opening or moving edge.

Choose a decorative area that does not cover lights, sensors, identification or other required vehicle features.

Confirm the owner's approval and intended location before decorating an object used by someone else.

Arrange the artwork, instructions and tools before starting so you do not have to improvise with exposed adhesive.

Keep the print and adhesive protected while checking the orientation and intended location.

Plan the position, identify the surface and follow the instructions for the supplied car sticker. Check preparation, application steps and aftercare before peeling.

Inspect the actual result and document concerns before attempting an improvised repair.

Include the order, surface and photographs so a supplier can understand an application or appearance question.

Match cleaning guidance to both the sticker and the object rather than assuming one routine suits every surface.

Confirm compatibility before applying a cleaner to a printed graphic or its surrounding finish.

Discuss the actual sticker construction and cleaning method before assuming a vehicle wash is suitable.

Check the sticker and surface before removal. Learn what changes for painted panels, car windows, adhesive residue and unknown dealer decals, and when to stop.
