THE STICKERROAR GUIDE

Checking a Tapered Cup Before Ordering

Measure at more than one height when planning a sticker for a cup that gets narrower toward the bottom.

Updated

A small brown fawn has a white-spotted coat, large glossy eyes and pale fairy-like wings, standing in a delicate side-facing pose.

What to know

A tapered cup does not offer the same width from top to bottom. A rectangular paper template can reveal where the surface changes shape and where the graphic begins to wrap. Confirm the specific cup surface and sticker compatibility before treating a scene preview as an installation promise.

Check your plan

  • Measure the intended top and bottom edges.
  • Compare a shorter footprint with a tall one.
  • Keep the design away from the drinking rim.

A practical example

A short round motif can avoid some of the visual distortion of a tall rectangle on a strongly tapered cup, but the real surface still needs checking.

The cover is an artwork example from the catalog. Use the measurements and file checks above to evaluate your own project, rather than treating the image as a scale reference.
