THE STICKERROAR GUIDE

Checking Panel Seams Before Choosing Sticker Size

Map seams and moving edges so the proposed sticker footprint stays within the area you intend to use.

Updated

Bold black Spanish lettering reads ME GUSTA EL CHISME, with a small red star and a red underline.

What to know

A seam can divide a design even when the overall measurement appears to fit. Mark the seam on a paper template and check the complete outline, including leaves, letters and borders. A small position adjustment may solve the problem more cleanly than a larger sticker.

Check your plan

  • Mark every seam within the proposed footprint.
  • Check the design's farthest projecting detail.
  • Test a position wholly within one suitable panel.

A practical example

A flame tip that reaches a door gap can be easy to miss in a centered preview. Check the outermost tip, not only the main flame body.

The cover is an artwork example from the catalog. Use the measurements and file checks above to evaluate your own project, rather than treating the image as a scale reference.
