THE STICKERROAR GUIDE

Choosing a Sticker for a Tall Narrow Space

Use vertical rhythm and a clear silhouette when planning a sticker for a tall, restricted area.

Updated

A tall white daisy stands above two serrated green leaves, with a yellow center and a tiny ladybug on a petal near the upper right.

What to know

Tall spaces can suit stems, stacked shapes or upright characters. A wide pose may become too small when fitted inside the same width. Compare the silhouette rather than only the subject; two character drawings can have very different practical footprints.

Check your plan

  • Measure the narrowest usable width.
  • Inspect arms, wings and other projecting details.
  • Try a vertical composition before reducing everything.

A practical example

A standing fairy with folded wings and a fairy with spread wings are not equivalent size choices. The outer pose determines which fits the narrow space.

The cover is an artwork example from the catalog. Use the measurements and file checks above to evaluate your own project, rather than treating the image as a scale reference.
