THE STICKERROAR GUIDE

Choosing Lake and Reflection Sticker Art

Check the relationship between the scene and its reflection when selecting a landscape design.

Updated

A deer with large antlers stands beside a lake at sunset, framed by dark pine trees, a bare tree and pink flowers.

What to know

A reflected landscape often depends on balance above and below a horizontal line. If the reflection is heavily reduced or cropped, the design can lose that structure. Compare the complete scene at the finished dimensions and keep the most meaningful mirrored shapes visible.

Check your plan

  • Find the horizon or waterline.
  • Compare the upper and lower visual weight.
  • Check that small reflected details do not become clutter.

A practical example

Golden trees reflected in a blue lake can create a balanced palette. The reflection should support the scene rather than read as an unrelated strip of color.

The cover is an artwork example from the catalog. Use the measurements and file checks above to evaluate your own project, rather than treating the image as a scale reference.
