THE STICKERROAR GUIDE
Making a Final Artwork Checklist Before Upload
Run a final sticker upload check on the actual export: wording, background, contour, dimensions and version. Record unresolved questions before ordering.

What to know
A short final check is more reliable than noticing problems after choosing all the shopping options. Open the actual export, read every word and inspect the complete edge. Confirm that the file is the intended version and that any transparency or background is deliberate.
Check your plan
- Verify spelling, orientation and version.
- Inspect edges and enclosed details.
- Keep the source file available for corrections.
A practical example
If the file passes the check, save its name with your size plan. That gives you a clear reference when comparing the uploaded preview with your original artwork.
Run two passes over the actual export
First check content without adjusting the design. Read the name, date, contact details and punctuation against an independent reference. Inspect corners for stray objects and confirm that the chosen version is the one everyone approved. This pass catches errors that an attractive layout can distract you from.
Next check the file as an image. Confirm it opens, inspect its pixel dimensions and view transparent areas against a contrasting background. Look along the outer silhouette for clipped details or remnants of a removed background. Keep the upload within the current PNG/JPEG format and 12 MB size limit.
Repeat the checks that upload can change
After upload, verify the selected dimensions, orientation and outline mode. Compare the smallest important text at the intended physical size. A file can be technically accepted while still using the wrong version or an unsuitable size.
Record a short decision: approved filename, requested dimensions, chosen material and any open question. For example, write that the lettering is checked but the opaque-white treatment still needs confirmation. Separating resolved checks from unresolved production questions prevents a general approval from hiding a missing decision.
Put the check into practice
Use the reviewed export when you prepare a custom sticker request. Keep the editable source and the approved filename together. Orders are requests without online payment; final production details require confirmation.
The cover is a schematic planning illustration for this topic, not a physical print sample or a measurement of your artwork.
