THE STICKERROAR GUIDE

Understanding Transparent Artwork and Clear Material

Keep file transparency separate from the physical material choice when reviewing your sticker.

Updated

A decorative graphic combines colorful signal bars, a wireless symbol, a green battery and bold 5G 100% lettering. The symbols are printed artwork only.

What to know

A transparent PNG describes where the file has no visible image pixels. Clear material describes the physical base. The two choices interact, but they are not the same thing. Review the selected material and any white printing separately rather than assuming a transparent upload produces a clear sticker.

Check your plan

  • Check the file's actual transparent areas.
  • Read the selected material name.
  • Confirm the appearance of white and pale parts.

A practical example

A transparent character file on White PVC can still use an opaque base around the print. The same file on Clear needs its transparent and white areas reviewed in that context.

The cover shows a catalog artwork example. It is not a physical material test or an installation demonstration. Confirm product-specific requirements for your actual surface.

Explore the options

Browse abstract and symbol car stickers or prepare your own custom sticker. Product pages let you compare the artwork, size, material and pack quantity. You can submit an order request without payment; final details require confirmation.
