Sticker guides

Understand the difference between increasing pixel dimensions and recovering information that was never in the source.

Reassess image detail after a crop because fewer pixels may remain for the same finished size.

Prepare a supported raster export while retaining your editable vector original for future changes.

Proofread the wording and spacing while the text is still editable, then verify the exported image.

Compare fonts for small sticker text at the intended physical size. Check similar characters, enclosed spaces and stroke shapes with a simple reading test.

Use letter and word spacing to prevent a short message from becoming a dense block.

Compare two layouts of “Take the scenic route” in the same frame. Keep phrases together, then check the lettering at its intended sticker size.

Review each numeral and its context before using dates, scores or decorative number graphics.

Inspect commas, apostrophes and quotation marks because small marks can change the message or disappear visually.

Verify the actual wording with a competent reader before treating an attractive script as finished artwork.

Review every visible letter and symbol before turning generated art into a printable sticker.

Plan the space around a logo so the sticker border does not crowd its key shapes.
